For years we thought about it, talked about it and imagined how it might feel.

And now, the moment has come— we’re CLOSING BARBA DANILO’S KITCHEN as you once knew it.

But not to say goodbye — instead to open a new, simpler, more peacefull chapter that will be more in the style and service of our resort UlikaRovinj.

Why?
Each year it becomes a little harder to meet the high standards we set for ourselves when we created Barba Danilo. We believe this change is necessary and we owe it to ourselves and to you who have shared so many unforgettable moments with us.

It certainly won’t be like before and of course you are not obliged to visit us but you are always welcome. From now on we invite you to join us for a wide selection of refreshing aperitifs and drinks, light summer snacks and our warm smiles under the Rovinj sun.

RESERVATIONS? No need, we will find a place for You

Just to be clear — our “light bites” won’t involve cooking:

we’ll be serving only cold dishes, such as Istrian prosciutto, local cheeses, 

baccalà mantecato, salted anchovies, Barba Danilo’s tartare,

tuna tartare, and more, depending on what we find fresh each day.
